Scott has been enjoying photography since childhood. His very first camera was a Kodak Brownie Bullet.
Scott began freelancing his fly-fishing columns and photography in 2000 and now has over 250 published works in newspapers and angling magazines. One of Scott's ongoing projects is cataloguing aquatic insects on the White River tailwaters. Some of his work was featured in the May 2007 issue of the SEOPA News (Southeastern Outdoor Press Association).
